Steven Samuels
Principal & Founder
Steven Samuels is a real estate owner, investor, and developer with more than four decades of experience in the New York region. A 1973 graduate of Baruch College with a degree in Finance, he began his career in family businesses before joining Emmanuel & Co., a Wall Street boutique investment bank, where he represented real estate syndication firms.
In 1985, Steven launched his entrepreneurial career by acquiring his first buildings — the foundation of the portfolio he runs today. As Principal of Avid, he oversees every project end to end, from acquisition and financing through leasing and construction management. He is known for repurposing properties across Manhattan and Brooklyn, and serves as Zoning Commissioner of the Village of Atlantic Beach, NY.
Aiden Samuels
Principal Associate
Aiden Samuels is a Principal Associate at Avid Asset Management, focused on portfolio management and day-to-day operations across the firm's New York and South Florida holdings. He works alongside Steven on acquisitions, asset repositioning, leasing, and the firm's marketing function.
Aiden has built hands-on expertise across video production, digital marketing, graphic design, and social media — having spent a full summer rotating through the firm's departments. Outside of Avid, he is co-founder of Auto Gallerie, a high-end car storage and consignment business. He is based in Delray Beach, Florida.
